Spotlight
Bridging the gap between young creatives and the music industry
Spotlight is a 12-week music industry and artist-development programme funded by Youth Music. It is aimed at aspiring creatives (aged 18-24) from South London who are not in education, employment or training.

The programme gives a behind the scenes look into the music industry by building creative and business skills whilst connecting young people to a professional network and shaping the next generation of the industry.

We have now run 9 programmes (2016-2023), with over 130 young people involved and have worked with music professionals to deliver workshops, seminars, masterclasses and more!
Our next programme takes place from October 2024 and recruitment will begin in the summer.
Spotlight Live
Each year, the 8-week journey of the Spotlight programme ends with a showcase, celebrating the collaborations, new skills and talents of the young creatives alongside a 4-piece band.

Our last live show was in December 2023, with performances from our core group ranging from hip hop, pop, and RnB!
Industry Professionals
Sessions are hosted by industry leaders including major and indie label representatives, music publishers, artist managers, established session musicians, producers, and songwriters.
