We are excited to finally announce the winner and runners-up from our 2016 Songwriting Competition.

Thanks to everyone who entered, we were blown away by the standard!

Over 60 young musicians (aged 11-18) entered the competition, from a wide range of genres.

Our 3 judges: Lara Lee, Miri and Ted Fletcher narrowed these entries down to 1 winner and 4 runners-up:

These young musicians performed their songs at our Summer Showcase, in front of an audience of 120 people. They were also joined by other SGS musicians (see images below).
