The Grit School is a 6-week music industry crash-course. It is open to young aspiring musicians between the ages of 16-24 from Lambeth. The Grit School is an opportunity for participants to develop their musicianship and gain honest, valuable and professional insights into the music industry.

The course consists of one practical workshop and one business seminar per week, Each hosted by industry leaders in their fields, including major and indie label representatives, music publishers, artist managers, established and professional session musicians, producers and songwriters.

The course aims to offer a practical and realistic view of the ever-changing industry, arming young musicians with the tools, knowledge and networks they need to stay inspired in pursuing a career path in music.

The Course is sponsored by Youth Music and is offered for FREE.
The Grit School ends with a chance for the young musicians to put into practise everything they have learnt over the 6 weeks and perform at The Grit School Live Showcase.
